TEAM 56 - First Time Visitors

So what does Sunday look like at Team 56?

TEAM 56 is a one-hour weekly teaching environment for 5th & 6th grade students that meet during the 9:00 am and 11:00 a.m. worship services. Each week students experience a mixture of worship, games, a challenging talk, and most importantly, interaction with a small group.

The hour is broken down into four parts:

  • Hang Time - Before each hour begins, students and leaders come intothe Life Center and hang out and listen to music, play games, make some crazy crafts, or just grab a snack and sit around catching up on what's been going on.
  • Connect Time - The first 15-20 minutes of TEAM 56 are a combination of worship, video, or a sketch that focuses students' attention on what is being directed from the stage.
  • Teaching Time - Teaching Time is not your typical sermon! During this time, a speaker will give an "intro" to what the students will be discussing in small groups.
  • Discussion Time - This is the "meat" of what we desire to accomplish with TEAM 56. 5th & 6th grade students meet in small groups divided by gender to discuss current issues or hot topics in their lives. Adults who invest in the students' lives lead these discussions.
