SUMMARY OF OCTOBER 3RD SMALL GROUP QUARTERLY MEETING

• VISION
  Updated leaders on the search for an Adult Pastor
  Explained the relationship between Faith Cafe and Life Groups. Faith Cafe is a place to:
  (a) "Birth" Life Groups,
  (b) Add people to your group,
  (c) Train apprentice leaders
• TRAINING
  We reviewed the Faith Cafe training subjects:
  (a) How to prepare for the weekly discussion,
  (b) Confidentiality in groups,
  (c) Spectrum of care in groups and how to refer for additional care
  We presented new material on "How to effectively choose study materials for your group": a checklist for evaluation
  We demonstrated the web site listing of materials available for New Life small groups
• ENCOURAGEMENT
  We had a question and answer time and prayed for one another
